Sara Kay
Sara Kay began dancing at a local studio in Simi Valley
California.  However, her major training has been as a dance major
at Loyola Marymount University.  She has performed in the Faculty
and Student dance concerts each year, and choreographed for the
past three years.  Professionally, Sara has performed with Dorcas
Roman as part of the Praxis Project.  She has also trained in yoga
and dance with New York's Avodah Dance Ansemble.  In addition,
Sara is certified in and teaches both Yoga and Pilates.
Isaac Lamb
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Isaac moved to the Los
Angeles area in 1998 to attend Loyola Marymount University, where
he starred in several productions including
Portia Coughlan,
Macbeth, and The Marriage of Figaro.  After graduating in 2002, he
worked in his hometown with the Young People’s Theatre Project as
Artistic Director and CORE Group leader, teaching acting and
directing for middle school and high school students.  Isaac returned
to Los Angeles in the fall of 2003 and immediately began work on
Sleeping Beauty, his first show with the Meh-Tropolis Dance
Theatre. Most recently, Isaac has been touring a role in the one-
man show
Rob Becker’s: Defending the Caveman.
Abigail Lauten
Abigail Lauten enjoys entertaining!  She has performed in a musical
variety show,
Singing in the Rain, in the play The Lion King, and was honored
and excited to be performing with Meh-Tropolis Dance Theatre as the “Baby
Bluebird” in
Sleeping Beauty.  She attends a private Christian school within
the LA area.  Abigail has a strong desire to continue dancing, enjoys creating
her own little plays and dances, loves animals, especially dogs, and perhaps
one day will become veterinarian.

Brady Lowdermilk
At the age of nine, Brady Lowdermilk participated in his elementary school’s
production of
The Twelve Days of Christmas.  Parading across the front of the
Church during mass as a Lord-A-Leapin’, Brady was struck by how dancing
seemed to be a meaningful way to express his artistic creativity and regain the
attention his adorable little brother had stolen away.  With these memories, he
was excited to be a principal member of the cast of his high school’s Senior
Follies 2000.  Although there wasn’t any dancing this time, this parody of the
faculty and staff allowed Brady to express his innermost angst and become
more comfortable on stage.  The drama teacher called his portrayal of the vice-
principal “haunting” and his mother thought it was “too cute.”  He took this
varied background in theater from Denver to a capital of the modern-ballet
dance world, Chicago, for refining during college.  As it turns out, most of
Brady’s dancing was at concerts or in darkened bars, so his talent went largely
unnoticed.  After earning his degree in English Literature and Secondary
Education from Lake Forest College, Brady joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps
and taught at an inner-city school in Los Angeles.  It was here that he met and
became enraptured with a fellow teacher and member of Meh-Tropolis.  While
his job as a teacher is rewarding, he is in need of a way to express his still
brooding angst and deep pools of creativity.  It is with these needs in mind that
Brady is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to reprise his role as a "Lord"
for the Meh-Tropolis production of
Cinderella.
Jon Caligiuri was pleased to make his dance debut in
Cinderella. He is an alumni of the Loyola Marymount Theatre
Arts Dept. His credits include
Turpentine Jake, One Sunday in
Mississippi
, Beast on the Moon,  History of the Devil, and
Laughter on the 23rd Floor.  Jon is also a musician and singer
and works as a Story Editor on a variety of TV shows.
Meh-Tropolis was excited to welcome Tiffany as a guest performer for
Cinderella!  Having recently graduated from Pepperdine University, Tiffany
first worked with "Meh" Artistic Director Sarah Harkness on the Pepperdine
Dance Concert,
Dance in Flight, where Harkness was a guest
choreographer.  Tiffany also dances with the Los Angeles based company
"LA Dancers".
Cinderella marked David's triumphant return to the dancing world after a brief
eleven-year absence. In the Spring of 1995 he was asked to portray one of the
most celebrated male roles in all of modern ballet's history (Prince's Guard #7) in
the Sacramento Ballet Company production of
Romeo & Juliet. Being the
consummate professional, he quickly bought the necessary dance attire, diligently
learned and practiced his dance steps, and hasn't looked back. Since then he's
traveled near and far searching for the answer to a most puzzling query: Why are
dance belts necessary in life? You might have seen him criss-crossing the country
with the Hampstead Players, or in a sketch somewhere with one of his two LA-based
sketch comedy troupes, AND DONKEY MAKES FIVE (McCadden Theater) and THE
SYNDICATE (coming soon-ish). Perhaps you attended a performance of the breast
cancer benefit SNAPSHOTS (Actor's Playpen) he co-produced right here in LA this
past July, or maybe you saw him act in COMPANY WE KEEP last year at the
Minnesota Fringe Festival. At any rate, he is honored to be a part of this incredible
Meh-Tropolis ensemble and thanks Sarah from the bottom of his arabesque for the
opportunity and for telling him that he doesn't have to wear, under any
circumstances, a dance belt.
Rozelle Polido
Rozelle joined Meh-Tropolis as an Apprentice Guest Dancer for their
Fifth Anniversary concert, Meh-Volution.  She recently graduated from
Pepperdine University, where she met "Meh" Artistic Director Sarah
Harkness and Principal Dancer Brenda Stevens while working with them on
the annual Pepperdine Dance Concert,
Dance in Flight.  Rozelle is now
dancing in San Francisco.
Cate Drummond
Cate Drummond began dancing ballet as a child. She trained at the
Tulsa School of Ballet under the instruction of Moscelyne Larkin and at the
Dance Academy, also in Tulsa, under the instruction of Matthew Bridwell.
She continued her ballet training through high school. She is currently a
pre-Medical/Biology senior at Pepperdine University, where she has
performed in "Dance in Flight" 2006 and 2008 in such disciplines as ballet,
modern, lyrical, jazz, and belly dancing. She was named Rookie of the Year
for 2006. She became acquainted with Sarah Harkness through
participation in her ballet pieces during both years and her modern piece
in the 2008 show. Cate is thrilled to be participating with Meh-Tropolis in
their June 2008 concert, and wishes to thank Sarah, Brenda, and Lauren
for choosing her to dance in their pieces.
