Sarah was born and raised in Chico, California, where she was a company member of Chico Community
Ballet. Under the direction of Deborah Jorritsma and Catherine Sullivan-Sturgeon, Sarah performed in such
ballets as Les Sylphides, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland. Sarah graduated
from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) with a BA in Theatre and a minor in Dance. While attending LMU, She
participated in two programs overseas: the Montpellier, France World Dance Festival and the Oxford, England
School of Drama. Sarah performed in and/or choreographed for LMU in such productions as ThreePenny
Opera (Irene Ryan Acting Nomination), Closer, Tempest, and History of the Devil. She has performed in and/or
choreographed for many shows including Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly, Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls,
Much Ado About Nothing, Velveteen Rabbit (with Oberlin Dance Company), and the west coast premiere of
Becoming Eleanor, directed by Diane Benedict. In May of 2004, Sarah performed a leading role opposite Martin
Sheen, Stockard Channing, and other actors of the NBC television show, The West Wing, in the play, Raising
Our Voices, written by Alyson Feltes, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, as a part of a benefit
supporting the efforts of the Landmine Survivor’s Network (LSN). Sarah works with Pepperdine University, as a
guest choreographer for their annual dance concert, Dance in Flight. She most recently directed and
choreographed A Chorus Line at LMU in March 2007. By day, Sarah works as an assistant in The Sherry
Lansing Foundation. Sarah is also in preparations to attend Florida State University in August 2009, as an MA
candidate in Dance. She knows the company will take good care of "Meh" while she is gone!
