Company Dancer
Tara Buenaventura is one of the newest members of the Meh Family. Born and raised in a suburb of the
greater Los Angeles area; Tara began dancing at the age of 6. After many years of competitions and recitals she
got the chance to perform with the Los Angeles Chamber Ballet in The Nutcracker. During her high school years
she had some great dance opportunities such as being asked to go to Paris, France to perform in The New Year’s
Day Parade and at the half-time show for The Women’s World Cup Championships in The Rose Bowl. Tara
attended California State University, Fullerton with a double major in Radio/TV/Film and Dance. During this time
Tara discovered modern dance and it changed the way she looked at dance and film. After college, she danced in
music videos and has performed as a back-up dancer. Tara is also an Honoree of Film Independent’s Project:
Involved with the emphasis in Cinematography. She is very excited to be part of Meh-Tropolis.
